In view of the increasing prevalence of coronavirus in the present situation, Telangana along with Maharashtra, Bengal has also extended the lockdown till April 30. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and Telangana CM K.K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced to increase the lockdown in their respective states. However, no formal announcement has been made by the Central Government to extend the lockdown period across the country.
