HYDERABAD: Home Minister Mahmood Ali and DGP Mahendar Reddy, who arrived in the city on Friday to attend the 15th anniversary celebrations of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council, said the state police were role models in adopting new technology.
Telangana state is gaining its name in every field, and now the state police have also become a role model in using technology and technology. Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister said that SCSC is an ideal example of public-private partnership and the society has made extensive efforts during the lockdown.
The DGP said that the benefits of technology should go through police service delivery. "We have launched CCTV projects on a war footing. Today, 6.5 lakh CCTV cameras have been installed in Hyderabad and 7.5 lakh CCTV cameras are installed in Telangana and hundreds of cameras are being installed every day.
SCSC is a collaboration between Cyberabad Police and IT industries and it was established in 2006. The top official said, 'Telangana police have become the best police agency in the world because of such and many other technical measures. '
Mahendar Reddy said that when any crime occurs, the state police will take 5 minutes to reach the crime site, 5 minutes in the state capital and 8 minutes in rural areas. Traditional crimes that exist ed in the future will disappear and cyber crimes may be prominently exposed.
Other major programs of SCSC - She Shuttles; Plasma Drive, Navigation Program, Sanghamitra Program, Project Safe Stay, Safe (Safety Awareness for Employees), Radiant Hyderabad, Traffic Volunteers, Dil Se Program (Digital Literacy to Save Youth) - Industrialist BVR Mohan Reddy, Rachkonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat, IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and other dignitaries also participated in the event.
