Prisoners are limited to meeting their relatives in jail due to fear of corona infection, but now queues are being taken to go online for various purposes from other states, telangana jails and correction services have introduced virtual 'Mulakats', allowing family members to meet the prisoners through virtual platforms like Skype.

Instead, prisoners are now allowed to call Skype with their loved ones. It allows telephone calls on registered mobile phone numbers and is allowed four times a week in five minutes from the landline in jail.
