Telangana Schools to facilitate with Internet connections: State Education Minister

On Friday, With the resume of Schools after corona pandemic Telangana state schools to facilitate with Internet connection.  Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy confirmed this and said that plans have been chalked out to provide Internet connection to schools in coordination with the Information Technology Department.

For your information let us share that while replying to a question on Internet connection to every school, the Minister, speaking in the State Legislative Council, said everyone realised the importance of the Internet during the Covid-19 pandemic when classes had to be conducted online.She also state that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao allocated Rs 2,000 crore to improve amenities in schools, she said apart from constructing buildings and library, computer facilities will also be provided in schools.

Here it is needed to mention that for commencement of this a committee was constituted in which education minister along with three other senior Ministers are members to discuss the measures to be taken to improve facilities in schools. Minister said the Council members could also give valuable suggestions in this regard.
