The recent price hike by India's top telecom companies - Jio, Airtel, and VI - has left customers fuming. The increased tariffs, which came into effect this month, have prompted users to seek more affordable options, with many turning to state-owned BSNL.

The price hike has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with #BoycottJio trending on Twitter. Meanwhile, #BSNL_की_घर_वापसी (BSNL's Homecoming) has also gained traction, with over 15,000 users sharing posts praising BSNL's services and plans.

Jio, Airtel, and VI announced their price hikes in quick succession, with Jio's prices increasing by 12-25%, Airtel's by 11-21%, and VI's by 10-21%. The steepest hike was seen in Jio's plans, which has led to a significant backlash on social media.

BSNL, on the other hand, has emerged as a more affordable option for customers. The company offers several plans that are cheaper than those of private telecom operators. For instance, BSNL's Rs 397 plan offers 150 days of validity, unlimited voice calling, daily 2GB data, and 100 free SMS. While the benefits are only valid for 30 days, the plan is still more economical than those offered by Jio, Airtel, and VI.

The price hike has led to a significant shift in customer preference, with many opting for BSNL's services. According to reports, over 1 lakh users have ported their SIMs to BSNL in just three days. Users are taking to social media to share their experiences and praise BSNL's services, leading to the trending of #BSNL_की_घर_वापसी.

As the telecom war heats up, it remains to be seen how Jio, Airtel, and VI will respond to the backlash. Meanwhile, BSNL is likely to continue to benefit from the exodus of customers from private telecom operators.
