A ranking report displaying the state wise ease of doing business ranking was released today by the Commerce and industry minister of the Centre, Nirmala Sitharaman. The report was made for the time period of July 2015 to June 2016.
Newly formed state and its parent state, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh stood first with 98.78 per cent of success in the 340 point business reform for the ease of doing business.
Gujarat stoof second with 98.21 AIR followed by Chhattisgarh and then Madhya Pradesh. Haryana ranked sixth followed by Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra.
Last year Gujarat was ranked 1 but now slipped to the third position.
