Amravati: Recently the Telugu language has got a rare distinction in Australia. According to the information received, the Government of Australia has given gifts to children studying in primary and secondary schools from first to 12th standard. Now children can choose Telugu language as an optional subject there. The Australian Government has given it permission. Along with this, it has also been said to give 5 marks more on the passing of students taking Telugu language as an elective subject.

This is a really great decision. Along with this, the Australian Government has also said that jobs and living forever can also apply on the basis of Telugu language, it has been decided to give additional 5 marks for the Telugu language to the candidates who participated in the examination conducted by the National Accreditation Authority for translators and interpreters. After knowing this news, Mallikeshwara Rao, the administrator, and media communication secretary of Telugu society has expressed happiness.

Recently he said that 'This decision of the Government of Australia benefits the local Telugu people and the students coming to pursue higher education.' Till now the Telugu Associations in Australia were taught to Telugu children for programs like 'Man-Badi'. The decision that has been made will not be needed after that time you must have known that Hindi, Punjabi, and Tamil were recognized in Australia till now, but now the fourth language Telugu has been included.
