New Delhi: On Monday, India's tennis player Leander Paes has indicated to retire. Leander Paes said he relied on his experience to win over rivals and did not want to play for more than a year. Paes was selected in India's Davis Cup squad for the match against Pakistan after several top players refused to go to Islamabad.

Leander Paes, a 46-year-old tennis player, has improved his own record by winning the 44th doubles match in the Davis Cup. In this match, India defeated Pakistan 4–0. On this, Leander Paes said, "Now I win on the basis of my experience but I should not play more than a year, given the interests of the team." Paes also said that the main objective of Indian tennis should be to create a new and young team.

Paes described the Davis Cup victory over Pakistan as special. He has said that many things were being heard before the match but the important thing is that India won 4-0 in a neutral place in Kazakhstan, so this victory is special. Paes, Zeeshan, and Rajpal were attending the press conference after returning home.
