Dehradun: A shocking incident of love shaming has come to light from Roorkee in Uttarakhand in which a lover has killed his girlfriend for refusing to marry him. The two had an affair for almost 8 years. Both are said to be distant relatives. The incident came to light on Thursday. On Friday, police registered a case of murder against the accused, a resident of Gulbaj, Jwalapur Haridwar, on the information of the girl's father Rashid. The police have sent the criminal to jail.

SP Dehat Pramendra Doval said that the said man has killed the girl for refusing to marry her. At around 5 pm on Thursday, the two arrived at a hotel in The Kaliar. He had booked a room. About three hours later, the man started carrying the suitcase from the room. The suitcase couldn't get up properly from him. The hotel staff got suspicious of this and the manager stopped the young man. After that, the suitcase was searched and everyone was stunned. In the suitcase was the body of the girl who had come to the hotel with him.

The manager reported the matter to the police control room. Police arrived at the scene and arrested the youth. During interrogation, the youth has given his name as Jwalapur, a resident of Gulbaj. The girl, Ramsa, hails from Mangalore and is a BCom student. When the Kaliar police scanned the ID (identity card) of the girl deposited in the hotel, it was found that the girl's ID was submitted forged. According to the ID that was submitted to the hotel, the ID was in the name of Kajal resident Jwalapur. While in the investigation, it has been revealed that the girl is a resident of Mangalore. The case is now being thoroughly investigated by the police.
