Lucknow: Terrorist organizations are trying to terrorize eastern Uttar Pradesh. The main cities of eastern Uttar Pradesh are targeted by the Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan-backed terrorist organization that has carried out several terrorist incidents in India before. Lashkar-e- Taiba is preparing sleeping modules in Ayodhya and Gorakhpur. Its responsibility has been given to terrorist Mohammad Omar Madni, a resident of Balkatwa in Madhubani district of Bihar living in Dhansara of Janakpur district of Nepal.

According to the reports from the intelligence agencies, terrorists can enter the country through Jammu and Kashmir and maritime border as well as from Nepal. There is a conspiracy of terrorists to carry out terrorist activities by preparing sleeping modules at important places like Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency Kashi, Gorakhpur and Ayodhya. According to intelligence officials, Omar Madani was in Kashi on March 14 and May 22. Madani is said to have stayed in Kashi's various Dharamsalas in a normal way.

When asked about this, SSP Anand Kulkarni said that the police always perform their duty cautiously. On the basis of important inputs from intelligence agencies, we take extra vigilance. In March and May, Madani had met a Nepali youth at other places, including Kashi, to make the preparations material concrete, according to police sources.

An advisory has been issued to the local police and the intelligence unit to exercise extra vigilance. According to sources, Madani was caught in New Delhi 15 years ago with fake Indian notes worth US dollars and five lakh rupees made in Pakistan. The investigating agencies admitted that Madani had brought money into the country for Terror funding. Madani has a strong network in eastern UP. So, the intelligence agencies are maintaining a lot of vigils.
