Jammu: An encounter between militants and soldiers has started in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. A joint team of 3 National Rifles of Police and Army along with the Quick Action Group of CRPF is going to carry out this operation. It has been learned that three militants were killed in an encounter by soldiers in Sopore in Baramulla district of North Kashmir on the previous day. Three AK47 rifles and explosive material have been found from the slain militants.

On the information about the presence of terrorists in Reban village of Sopore, soldiers started a search operation at 4 am on Sunday. Meanwhile, the terrorists hiding in a house started firing on the soldiers as the cordon tightened. First, the soldiers provided them with a lot of dedication. Even after which they continued firing, the encounter started with retaliation. In which 3 terrorists were killed. IGP Vijay Kumar has informed that one of these terrorists is of Pak terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, whose name is Usman. Where it was also involved in the Sopore attack some time ago. A CRPF jawan was killed in that attack and a civilian lost his life.

On Wednesday evening, the terrorists killed BJP leader Wasim Bari, his brother and father. A local and a Pak terrorist were involved in the murder. After this murder, a campaign was started on behalf of the soldiers in the whole of North Kashmir so that the invading terrorists would be found and killed. In this episode, in Sopore, a great success was found in finding the terrorists.
