New Delhi:- Tesla's latest move is a new feature for those seriously considering joining its ecosystem. Tesla drivers with home solar arrays and Powerwall chargers now have an in-app option to charge their vehicles using only surplus solar energy.

The automaker began introducing the setting in May under a rather pastoral name. Ride on Sunshine. This setup is now simply called "Solar Charging". Available to new (2021 and newer) Tesla owners in the US and Canada. 

With the rise of electric vehicles and the proliferation of solar panels, countless dreamers speculate that the two technologies will be merged.

The origins of solar-powered cars as we know them date back to his 1950s GM modified Corvette, the Sunmobile, which reportedly captured enough solar energy to make it across the stage at the Chicago auto show. Cars with solar roofs have come a long way since then (see below) efforts by Lightyear, Fisker, Karma, Toyota and even Tesla), but not many such solar-roofed vehicles are on the road yet.

Tesla, on the other hand, has long enabled solar-powered charging via solar panels and home chargers, and the automaker's Charge-On-Solar feature offers some drivers another level of charging method. It seems to provide control over the recharge.

Also note that this feature only works on Tesla Powerwalls, at least for now. If you have a third-party battery that stores solar energy, you cannot use Charge on Solar at this time. Energy costs vary from site to site, so using this feature may end up costing you more.

Tesla has made new option available for the tesla owners that they will now be able to recharge their car batteries with Solar. This now availability has made all the tesla owners happy and also made them easy to charge the batteries and can now charge them anywhere they want and anyhow.
