Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra‘s film Thank God is already hit the theatre. The movie is based on a story that presents Indian Indols in a modern avatar. Sidharth Malhotra is a person who has various bad habits and he is frustrated with its life.
Story
Sidharth Malhotra played the role of Ayan Kapoor in the film. Years ago he was minting money as a top real estate tycoon in Mumbai. After demonetisation, his black money-led business came to a grinding halt leaving him in crushing debt. Ayan’s debt-ridden predicament has left him irritable, self-centered, and with anger issues. That is until he has a sudden car crash and wakes up in a realm between life and death, where he is to be judged to determine whether he’s worth saving.
CG played by Ajay Devgn who examines each of Ayan’s weaknesses and faults (anger, selfishness, lust, and beyond), and creates a test for each, to allow him to prove he’s able to overcome his weaknesses. The film story is quite similar to Salman Khan’s Oh My God.
Review
Sidharth Malhotra's performance is average it looks like he does not did justice to the film. The movie has fun and emotional elements. Ayan’s wife Ruhi played by Rakul Preet Singh (a charming Rakul Preet Singh, despite a wafer-thin role) is supposed to accuse Ayan of lying. The story is not new Ajay Devgn as CG is also average. Music of the film is good. The movie is one time watchable but don’t expect too much as you feel disappointed.
