Berlin: Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 model in Europe. The car will be offered for a short run and deliveries will begin next month.

The sedan's interior is luxurious, it has an impressive exterior, and its plug-in hybrid engine produces 802 horsepower. What are the characteristics of a four wheeler? Let's see it.

The Edition 1 model's mirror caps, front and side skirt trims, and waistline are finished in a dark chrome/high-gloss black combination. Options include a twin black-chromed tailpipe, a silver-chrome fuel filler cap with AMG logo.

A decorative trim on the rear apron, brake callipers finished in red, and heat-insulating dark-tinted glass. Riding on 21-inch AMG forged wheels with cross-spokes, it rides in MANUFAKTUR Alpine Gray paint.

Version 1 includes AMG performance seats and a black Nappa leather steering wheel with red stitching.

The car also featured a Version 1 logo etched into the center console, AMG floor mats, and door sill panels along with an illuminated red AMG logo.

Every customer also gets a car cover made of synthetic fabric which is tear resistant and protects the four-wheeler from dirt and scratches.

The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 is powered by an electric motor, an AMG SpeedShift MCT 9G gearbox and a 4.0-litre, 8-cylinder, turbocharged engine that produces 612 horsepower and 900 Nm.

The system generates a combined output of 1,430Nm of torque and 802hp of power. The vehicle has a top speed of 290 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.

Additionally, the Mercedes-AMG S 63 e Performance Edition 1 offers an air suspension system with AMG Ride Control+ that features adaptive damping and active roll stabilisation.

For a comfortable and smooth ride, options include active rear-axle steering, electromechanical speed-sensitive power steering and the AMG High-Performance Composite Braking System.

The four-wheeler has a turning radius of 12.3 meters and a payload capacity of 550 kg.

Mercedes-AMG S 63E Performance Edition 1 price in Germany is €208,392.8 (roughly Rs. 1.87 crores). The most powerful S-Class is in production now, and deliveries will start in May.
