Berlin: Mercedes-Benz, a German automaker, has finally unveiled its GLS lineup for 2024. Later this year, the cars will be available for purchase in the US.
The GLS450 4MATIC, GLS580 4MATIC, Maybach GLS600, and AMG GLS63 are the four models that make up the range. When it comes to the design, features, and powertrain, each variant varies just a little. Let's look at it.
The GLS450 4MATIC has a grille finished in Silver Shadow, a bumper with air vents surrounded in gloss black, and modern headlights.

It can be painted in Manufactur Alpine Gray Non-Metallic and Twilight Blue Metallic finishes. Inside, there is Catalana Beige/Bahia Brown leather upholstery, new trim, and a modernised MBUX infotainment system.
It has a 3.0-liter, inline-six, turbocharged engine that produces 375 horsepower and 500.2 pound-feet of torque. Its top speed is 209 km/h.
Similar to the GLS450 in appearance, the GLS580 4MATIC has a multi-slat grille, narrow headlights, a front skid plate, roof rails, side steppers, and wrap-around taillamps with three horizontal blocks.

It also has 30.5mm more ground clearance. The interior features high-gloss trims, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and an expansive display. It has a top speed of 209km/h.
The exterior of the Maybach GLS600 features two-tone paint, a chrome grille, roof rails, 23-inch forged wheels, narrow headlamps, and wrap-around taillights.
The interior features perforated diamond-quilted upholstery, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a dual-tone dashboard, and a large display for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 97 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.
The AMG GLS63 has a large grille with vertical slats, roof rails, multi-spoke wheels, and adaptive high-beam headlights as standard equipment. Light projectors are also included that project AMG-specific animation onto the ground.
The interior features upholstery in Bahia Brown/Black Nappa/Black and Macchiato Beige, a panoramic sunroof, and heated and ventilated front seats. It has a top speed of 280 km/h and is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo, V8 mill (603 hp/850 Nm).

The lineup of 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS vehicles' pricing and availability information has not yet been released. However, the price range for SUVs in the US should start at about $85,000. (around Rs. 70 lakh).
