His friend Siddharth Pithani was detained from Hyderabad in the year 2021 in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput drugs case. It has been almost a year since he was sentenced to jail, but now he is waiting for bail, for which he has recently filed a petition and today i.e. on Friday, the case is said to be heard. Pithani's lawyer Tarak Sayyed has told the media that the hearing in the case is scheduled to be held on June 24, i.e. today.
Sources close to the NCB say that action has also been taken against Siddharth Pithani on the basis of information received from phone and WhatsApp chats. There was evidence against him that Pithani had a connection with the alleged drug suppliers. However, Pithani later moved for bail after some time, but the court refused. He was also given special permission to marry the court. After some time, Pithani surrendered himself before the NCB.
Reports say that Siddharth Pithani was also a very close friend of the late Sushant Singh Rajput. At the same time, reports say that Pithani was the only person who can see Sushant Singh hanging from the fan first in the bedroom on June 14, 2020. The NCB has also questioned Pithani a lot about this case.
