The film The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart is based on the lives of the Australian pop group The Bee Gees. It was founded in 1958 by three brothers, Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb, and Maurice Gibb. 

The documentary The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart, which won an Emmy in 2020, follows the life of the Gibb brothers, who founded the musical group The Bee Gees. The HBO docuseries was directed by Frank Marshall and includes interesting archival video of late brothers Robin and Maurice, as well as facts about their life and tryst with fame from their surviving sibling Barry Gibb.

The documentary, titled after The Bee Gees' 1971 song How Can You Mend a Broken Heart from their album Trafalgar, was broadcast on CNN on May 29, 2023, to a larger audience. It premiered on HBO on December 12, 2020, and got six Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Sound Editing for a Nonfiction or Reality Program in the 2021 event. HBO has made the docuseries available for viewing.

The show's description reads, "The iconic trio, who found early fame in the 1960s, went on to write over 1,000 songs, including twenty #1 hits throughout their storied career. This film follows the Bee Gees' meteoric rise as they rode the highs of fame and fortune, negotiated the vagaries of the ever-shifting music business, and navigated the complexities of working so intimately alongside family."

The Bee Gees were a Grammy-winning group, one of the most successful trios in current music history, and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In 1997, they were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Because of their contribution to musical history, they have been dubbed The Disco Kings, Britain's First Family of Harmony, and The Kings of Dance Music.
