The year 2016 proved unlucky for Hindi Film Industry. Only approx 14 movies reached the level from total 280 were made this year. Many films unexpectedly failed to impress the audience and result announced at Box office which was very poor. Even the films failed to collect the amount what spent to make the film.

Mohenjo Daro:

Hrithik Roshan and Pooja starrer film shot on a budget of over Rs 100 crore but collected only Rs 58 crore.

Fitoor:

This romantic drama starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif in the lead was shot on a budget of Rs 70 crores and collected only Rs 20 crore.

Mirzya:

Debut film of Anil Kapoor's son Harshwardhan was shot on a budget of Rs 35 crores, it collected merely Rs 11.

Rock On 2:

The film was shot on a budget of Rs 45 crores, but only received Rs 11 crores.

Raaz Reboot:

Franchise of Raaz failed at platform. Was shot on a budget of Rs 30 crore and failed to recover the amount.

Banjo:

Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri starrer film was shot on a budget of Rs 20 crore and collected only Rs 14 crore.

Baar Baar Dekho:

Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra featured director Nithya Mehra's film was made with a budget of Rs 50 crore, it collected merely 30 crores
