The matter came to light with a police complaint. Gyasi Kushwaha and his two sons, who live in Madaiyapura of the Lahar area, have been living together for years. Due to the death of his wife many years ago, there is no woman in the house who can do the household chores. Due to the age of the eldest son Sonu, marriage could not even take place. Recently, a friend named Guddu, who worked with Sonu, got trapped in the talk and cheated in the name of the marriage of Sonu. Actually, The news of Sonu not getting married was also known to relatives and acquaintances. Taking advantage of this, Guddu entrapped the father and son in the talks and asked to spend money while taking the responsibility of getting Sonu married. Elderly Gyasi Kushwaha also agreed to spend 80 thousand rupees as told by Guddu in the hope of marriage. Victim Sonu told that after arranging the money, he handed over the entire amount to the criminal Guddu. On 10 October, Guddu called Sonu and asked him to go to Jhansi. 

Guddu tells him that the girl he has fixed for marriage is there. Thereafter, Sonu Kushwaha, accompanied by his father Gyasi, reached Jhansi with friend Guddu, where all three arrived in a hut built near the railway station. After some time the bride wearing a veil was made to stand near Sonu. When Sonu and his father expressed their desire to marry at the temple or the court, they, fearing the police, put it off saying that the bride has been found, did not get involved in marriage, take the bride to the village. Coming from Jhansi to Lahar, it was 3 o'clock at night. When Sonu reached the room, he asked the bride to show her face, but the bride showed her face in the morning and told her to sleep. Sonu suspected that there was no girl in the veil, but due to fatigue, he fell asleep. In the morning, the boy who became a bride asked her the place of the toilet in a muffled voice, then Sonu said to go to the field in his sleep, But when the bride who had left the house did not return, his suspicion turned into conviction and then he realized that he had been cheated. Sonu Kushwaha, the victim of the incident, filed a complaint application at the Lahar police station and pleaded for justice, but even after passing 2 weeks, neither the bride nor got the amount of 80 thousand. At the same time, Sonu's aged father Gyasi, hurt by the incident with his son, is also in shock. The family, who was a victim of this deception, is now pleading with the police for justice and making rounds of the police station.
