Ranchi: Due to continuous power failure in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi for the past several days, where the daily life of the local people is being badly affected, the business of the traders is also on the verge of coming to a standstill. Not only this, after the power failure, people are forced to roam on the road late at night or sit in the park. Due to this, some businessmen have said that the business will collapse due to the power crisis. Local shopkeeper Manoj Kumar Dubey has said that we stay in the sun throughout the day and expect some satisfactory business in the evening, but due to this the electricity goes out. Our business is collapsing.

Another local shopkeeper said that we have to face a power crisis for 3-4 hours in the afternoon. I have a stationery shop with photocopying machines which is open for about 14-15 hours. But in the main time of business, the electricity goes out, so that we are not able to do the work of photocopying. In such a situation, we are incurring huge losses.  

In Jharkhand, the state of affairs is in spate due to the power crisis. Opposition BJP said that common people are troubled by the power crisis in this summer season. The BJP has started cornering the Hemant government on this issue directly related to the common people. On Wednesday, the BJP held a rally in Dumka over the power crisis and launched a direct attack on the Hemant government. BJP Legislature Party leader Babulal Marandi said people tell that Dumka MLA Basant Soren would not have slept at night on the day he did not get Rs 1 crore.
