Bhopal: Congress workers led by Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath are going to take over the Raj Bhavan in Bhopal today. It is reported that all the workers are going to gather at Jawahar Chowk at 11 noon today. All of them will gather and leave for Raj Bhavan while marching on foot. Gherao will be in Bhopal at 12 noon. This siege is going to be in support of the agricultural laws and the farmers' agitation in the country.
It is being led by state Congress president and former chief minister Kamal Nath. A large number of Congress workers from the state and districts including senior Congress leaders are also going to join the event. Tributes will also be paid to the farmers who died on the borders of Delhi during Gherrao. Talking about this, state Congress office administration in-charge Rajiv Singh said, "The congress workers coming from various sectors will reach the venue at Jawahar Cheque at 11 am. From there, he will walk to Raj Bhavan while performing at a rally. Will gherao the Raj Bhavan.''
Well, today is the 125 birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The officials and functionaries of the state and district Congress have laid wreaths and floral tributes at the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose in front of the old Subhash School in capital Bhopal at 10:30 am. Recently, the Youth Congress Media department, Madhya Pradesh president Vivek Tripathi said in a statement that "the Youth Congress has completed necessary preparations for the Raj Bhavan Gherao. Our workers, officials, and leaders from all over the state have reached Bhopal. They have also discussed the forthcoming strategies. We will open our front to raise the voice of the farmers against this dumb deaf government.''
