Bhopal: Several other cases have worsened the situation amid the corona crisis, meanwhile constable Ajay Singh, who was guarding CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, shot himself dead. His body was recovered at a flat in the Mangalwara police station area on Wednesday morning. He was alone in the house at the time of the incident. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot. The incident took place on Tuesday-Wednesday night. When he did not reach his duty under the chief minister's security on Wednesday morning, his relatives went to Ajay's flat looking for him. His body was recovered from there.
The relative then handed over the incident to the police. Police have rushed the body to Hamidia Hospital for postmortem. Police have handed over the Tahrir to his family members living in Vidisha. Police said Ajay's duty as chief minister security was imposed on Wednesday morning. A call was made from the security office when he was not on duty, but Ajay did not pick up the phone. When they called Ajay's family members, they informed the relatives (constable) living in Patel Nagar in Bhopal.
They also called Ajay but the call was not received. The room was locked from inside when they reached Ajay's flat. Ajay's body was lying down from the rear window after which they handed over the incident to the Mangalwara police. Police said 31-year-old Ajay Singh Sengar had joined the 10th Battalion Sagar in 2012. At present, he was posted in the chief minister's security. Ajay Sengar lived with the family in Tulsi Tower Patel Nagar flat on rent for 6 months.
