New Delhi: The price of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, which was unveiled as the brand's top motorcycle in January 2023, has increased in the Indian market. Approximately 6,000 rupees have been added to the price of each of the motorcycle's three variations, but Royal Enfield hasn't changed any of the features.

The entry-level Astral variant of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is now priced at 3,54,398 in the updated ex-showroom prices for the Indian market. Currently, the Celestial model is the most expensive, costing $3,84,845, while the Interstellar model is now priced at $3,69,622. Notably, the prices of all three variations have increased without any changes to their features.

The 648cc parallel twin engine under the hood of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 uses air-oil cooling and has a 270-degree crank. The engine can produce a maximum of 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,650 rpm and 46 bhp of power at 7,250 rpm.

It is connected to a 6-speed gearbox that has a slip-and-assist clutch. Although the engine in question is the same as the ones in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, Royal Enfield has modified the fueling and gearing specifically to meet the needs of the Super Meteor 650.

Speaking of stopping power, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is equipped with twin-piston floating callipers on its front 320 mm disc brake and 300 mm disc brake.

Steel tubular spine frames make up the motorcycle's chassis, and its suspension system is made up of twin shocks with preload adjustment and 43 mm upside-down telescopic forks in the rear that have a travel range of 101 mm.

The motorcycle manufacturer is currently working on a number of new models, with the intention of releasing three of them this year. The Shotgun 650, Himalayan 450, and the newest Bullet 350 are among the upcoming models.

The release dates for any of these models are still uncertain and may experience delays, even though the Himalayan 450 is anticipated to debut later this year.
