New Delhi: The Narendra Modi-led central government can appoint the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) in June itself. Not only this, the head of two more important security agencies RAW and IB (Intelligence Bureau) can also be appointed this month. For IB Chief, the name of 1987 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer AS Rajan is at the fore. Rajan is currently the number 2 officer in the IB. Rajan has also been Deputy Director and Joint Director in Gujarat. Along with this, Manoj Yadav, Anish Dayal Singh, Tapan Deka of 1988 batch are also in the race. At the same time, the names of Ravi Sinha and Sridhar Rao of 1988 batch are also in the race for Raw.
