New Delhi: Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday (February 14) removed a major hurdle coming in the way of the Prime Minister's Enclave. After this, there are speculations that the country may get a new PM house soon. 

According to reports, Arvind Kejriwal has now completely cleared the way for the new PM House 'Pradhan Mantri Enclave' to be built in Delhi. In fact, the Central Public Works Department (CBWD) had sought permission from the Delhi government to remove 173 trees from the project site. Now the Kejriwal government has given its approval on this matter. It is being told that the Kejriwal government has approved the CBWD's proposal on the condition that the agency will plant 10 times the number of trees removed.

Let us tell you that, even though there is a conflict between the Delhi government and the Center on every issue, but the timely intervention of CM Kejriwal in this matter has helped in speeding up the project. Officials said on Tuesday that the Delhi government has given approval to the CBWD to remove trees from the site of the proposed Executive Enclave under the Central Vista project. The high-security Executive Enclave will come up on the south side of the South Block at Plot No. 36/38 in Lutyens Delhi. 

The Executive Enclave, housing the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Cabinet Secretariat, India House, and National Security Council Secretariat, will cost an estimated Rs 1,189 crore. India House will be used for high-level talks like Hyderabad House, where talks are currently held with visiting top leaders from various countries.
