USA: Some beta users of WhatsApp will soon get an additional shortcut for the disappearing messages feature. After a predetermined amount of time, the disappearing messages feature removes the messages.
As of the latest update, the feature will also appear in the "Manage storage" section of the "Settings" menu. The tool will assist in reducing local storage. The latest update for Android bumps up the version to 22.214.171.124.
As part of the previous beta Android update 126.96.36.199, an update section was added to the disappearing messages in the app. As a result users can now more easily set a message timer for both new and old chats. With the new beta update, you can access this feature from both the app's settings and your chats.
