The incident took place in Kusiyar village. On Saturday night, 5-year-old Anjali, daughter of a Mahadalit family, was attended by her parents. Anjali and her two siblings were alone in the house. Then at night someone kidnapped her up from the house. The other two children were in deep sleep, so they did not even know about it. Then when the parents returned home from the wedding, they found that the two children were sleeping comfortably. But Anjali was not there. He woke up the two children and asked them about Anjali. The children said that Anjali was also sleeping with them. They don't know where she went. The distraught parents immediately started looking for Anjali.
I also asked people in the neighborhood. But Anjali was nowhere to be found. As soon as the family reached home on Sunday morning, their dog came to them. He began to pull the owner's kurta. The owner thought maybe the dog wanted to take them somewhere. They followed him too. The dog took them to a pit. When the family members dug the pit, they lost consciousness. Actually, Anjali's body was in the pit. There were several marks of sharp weapons on her body. There were also injury marks on the neck. The private part was cut with a sharp weapon. The family immediately informed the police. On receiving the news of the body being received, the police and villagers also reached there. Police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. SDPO, Rampukar Singh said that the case seems to be a case of murder after rape. The post-mortem report is awaited.
