Netflix's blockbuster animated series The Dragon Prince is all set to release its fifth season.

On July 27, 2023, the fifth season will be streamed. 

The Dragon Prince is about two human princes and eleven assassins who join forces on an epic journey to end their warring kingdom’s hostilities after making an astounding discovery.  

The Dragon Prince won an Emmy for outstanding children animated series2020. Wonderstrom’s composer Freddie Wiedmann was nominated for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition. The NYX character was nominated for UBCP/ACTRA Awards 2020.

The series premiered in 2019 and got a super hit. The first season was released in 2018 followed by season 2 which was released in February 2019. The third season was released on November 2019. But season 4 was being delayed due to Covid-19 the shooting was not able to happen because of the lockdown. Then they released season 4 on November 2022.

The last season set excitement for a new arc with Mystery of Avaravos.  The arc continues in season 5. The seventh and final season of the Fantasy series will be its last.

Season 5 first clip shows that the dragon prince Ezran, Soren, Corvus, Zym, and Zubeia activate an old beacon to call upon a powerful potential ally for assistance with Claudia now in possession of the map to Avaravos Jail.
