As the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi comes, devotees of Bappa gather to bring Ganesh to their house. People wish to worship Ganpati Bappa on this occasion and ask him to maintain happiness in their home. Apart from this, the thing is such that the most are done on this occasion, and this particular thing is named Modak. 

On the occasion, people make special modes in their houses, which are very dear to Lord Ganesha, with a variety of dishes. So let's tell you today what is the right and special way of making it. 

Ingredients

Rice flour - 2 cup 
jaggery - 1.5 cups (finely) 
raw coconut - 2 cups grated 
cashew nuts and raisins - as desired 
cardamom - 5 to 6  
ghee - 1 tablespoon 
salt - half a teaspoon

Step One

First made a foil to fill in modak. For this, put jaggery and coconut in the kadhai and keep it for heating. Keep stirring it until the mixture gets thickened. Add raisins and cardamom to this mixture. 

Step two 

Put 2 teaspoons of ghee in a cup of water and keep it warm. As soon as the water boils, turn off the gas. Now add rice flour and salt and mix it well. After this, cover this mixture for about 5 minutes. 

Step three

Dough into the large utensils and soften them with the dough. Take care that the dough remains soft. Now prepare the moles with the help of ghee. After that, take a little dough and if you want it, take a small size bell or raise it from the palm.

Step four

After this, fill the fist in the middle and give the shape of the modak by turning using the fingers. Now add 2 glasses of water in a pot and let it boil and sieve it over it or keep the mould on top of a stand and cover it. By doing so, after 10 to 15 minutes, Modak will get steam.
