New Delhi: Children are feared to be infected in the third wave of the coronavirus. But before that, a study has come out about children, which is a relief. According to the study, most children infected with corona recovered after 6 days and the number of children who have symptoms for four weeks is quite low.

According to media reports, research published in The Lancet Child and Adolescent Health journal revealed that children showed a very low risk of prolonged corona symptoms. The study is based on data provided through the app by children's parents and carers. According to this study by researchers at King's College London, the number of children who experience corona symptoms for a long time is very low. According to the researchers, adults have long effects even after a corona. Corona symptoms persist in adults for four weeks or more, but it is not yet known whether children have the same condition or how mixed it is.

According to the study, children who were found to have corona tests infected showed mild symptoms of the corona. The study covered 2.5 million UK children through smartphones. They were 5 to 17 years old. The team kept the research time between September 2020 and February 2021. Symptoms developed after 1,734 children were infected. Their symptoms were observed regularly until they recovered. These children remained ill for an average of six days. Three symptoms were observed in children in the first week. Although these were quite light and usually recovered quickly.
