New Delhi: The F5 series from POCO has been introduced to the world market. There are two models in the lineup: POCO F5 and F5 Pro. Only the former has so far been released in India, and the entry-level 8GB/256GB model costs Rs. 29,999. The F5 has a 5,000mAh battery, a 64MP main camera, a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, and a 120Hz AMOLED display.

POCO's most recent F5 series is the company's second release of the year. This year saw the debut of the X5 series. The POCO F5 smartphone continues to resemble the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, a model exclusive to China. Given that there are some capable offerings for around Rs. 30,000, it is still unclear what kind of reaction the smartphone will garner in the Indian market.

The POCO F5 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a top-centered punch-hole cutout, and thin bezels. It has a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, and support for Dolby Vision. It weighs 181g and has a thickness measurement of 7.9mm. Electric Blue, Carbon Black, and Snowstorm White are the available colorways for the F5.

It has a thickness of 7.9mm and a weight of 181g. The F5 is available in Electric Blue, Carbon Black, and Snowstorm White.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset powering the POCO F5 is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The phone launches MIUI 14 on top of Android 13. It has a 5,000mAh battery inside that supports 67W fast charging.The device supports dual SIM, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, and a 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity.

The 8GB/256GB variant of the POCO F5 costs Rs 29,999. The price of the 12GB/256GB version is Rs. 33,999. The company is offering a discount of Rs. 3,000 on both the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants as part of the launch offer. The phone will start selling on Flipkart on May 16.
