New Delhi: According to a decompiled APK by 9to5Google, Google is working to add Bard AI as a home-screen widget to Pixel smartphones and the upcoming tablet. The widget will only be available on the company's products, making it simpler for Pixel devices to access the generative AI chatbot. Uncertainty exists regarding Bard's status as a standalone app or an integrated feature of the Google Search app.

Microsoft has fully incorporated GPT-4 into Edge and Bing, but Google has not yet done the same with Bard.But if the most recent 9to5Google report is to be believed, that could change very soon.Currently, a web browser is required to access Bard. Its reach will be extended to Pixel devices, and in the future it might even take over as the default Android experience.

The article has found several lines of code that make references to potential future features. According to the code, Bard will soon be accessible on Pixel devices as a widget for the home screen.
