Dehradun: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami answered the questions being raised regarding corruption in the Dehradun Smart City Project in Mussoorie. He said that we had to listen because of Dehradun Smart City. CM said in Chintan Shivir that it is not my habit to say that this work or plan is not of my time. Whatever is wrong, we will fix it. He said that whatever happened earlier, that too was ours and it is also our responsibility to rectify what went wrong.

It may be noted that recently Dehradun Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama had given a letter to the Chief Minister regarding the works of Dehradun Smart City. He had raised questions regarding the works of Smart City. On the other hand, former Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat also raised questions on the works of Smart City. He had said that the work of the project was getting affected due to frequent changes of officers. The Chief Minister answered these questions in Mussoorie, although he did not name anyone. Because of this, while the CM gave advice to the officers, he also gave a message to the politicians. He said that the fish which opens its mouth often gets caught in the hook.

He said Mayur was the collector of Uttarkashi before the commencement of the Chardham Yatra. I wanted a good officer for Rudraprayag, so I asked the Chief Secretary. When he suggested the name of Mayur, he was sent to Rudraprayag. I got a call from Mayur after sending me to Rudraprayag. He said, sent from big district to small one. This is my demotion. I explained to him. He understood this and went to Rudraprayag and started the work in the best way. The Chief Minister said that whatever targets are given, one should try to get them completed sincerely. The CM said, My tenure of one and a half year is about to be completed. Because of this, to date, I have not said anything in which a situation of controversy arises. The main reason behind this is that I speak very less. That's why there was never any chance of getting trapped. I grew up on the banks of the Sharda River. Sharda is just 50 meters away from my house. Since childhood, I often used to catch fish in the river. I used to see that the fish which opened its mouth, used to get trapped.
