Bagha: A shocking incident has come to light from Bagha in Bihar, where a brother tried to kill his own sister. Actually, the brother was angry with his minor sister for having a love marriage. Due to this, he pushed his sister into the Gandak river. He then fled from the spot. Thankfully, the policemen deployed at Dhanha bridge showed promptness and rescued the girl. At present, the victim has been admitted to Madhubani PHC.
The 16-year-old victim is a resident of a village under the Vishunpurwa police station area. According to police, the victim married a boy of her choice without informing her family members. As soon as the family got the news of this, the girl's brother got angry. He called his sister to meet him on some pretext. Then fraudulently pushed into the Gandak river. As soon as she fell into the river, the young woman started screaming.
Due to this, the policemen stationed there heard the girl's voice and pulled her out of the river safely. But the young woman became unconscious due to water in her body. He was taken to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Dhanha police inspector Shashi Shekhar Chauhan said the girl has been in shock since the incident. His statement has been recorded. And the case is being investigated by the police and the search for the absconding criminal brother is also going on. The girl is not even able to say anything from this incident and she was given the courage by the policemen that she was with her.
