Dhar: Due to the wedding in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, the groom found it expensive to wear a sherwani. In the fight over this, the girl's side beat up the procession a lot. The police have now registered a case against both parties. In fact, this peculiar incident took place in the Dhamnod police station area of the district. Here in Mangabayda village, the procession had come from Dhar, but the groom was wearing a sherwani. It was only from here that the quarrel started because the girl students said that according to the tribal tradition, the groom should be made to wear a dhoti-kurta at the wedding. The girls had a strong objection to the sherwani worn by the groom.
Even after this, when the groom Sunderlal came to the mandap in a sherwani to take the vows, the bride's aunt, Jhiggu Bai, objected and said that according to tradition, they take vows in front of Kuldevi by wearing dhoti-kurta, but the procession was adamant that the groom would take vows in the sherwani itself. The dispute over this matter escalated and there was a clash between the two sides.
Due to this quarrel, the people of the bride's side started pelting stones, due to which the procession had to flee from the spot. Four people were injured in this case. On receipt of the complaint, the police have registered a case against both parties. Dhamnod police station in charge Sunil Yaduvanshi said, "The demand of the tribal community from Dhar had come to TheByara nearby. The groom was wearing a sherwani. The girl side said that they wear dhoti-kurta in the vows. The girl's side urged the groom to wear a dhoti-kurta instead of a sherwani, but there was a dispute between the two sides over the same issue. Both sides also came to the police station. They were listened to. At the same time, a case has been registered against the bride and groom side.
