Tia Bajpai was born on February 22, 1988, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She got her first 'Ghar Ki Lakshmi Beti'. Tia's real name is Twinkle Bajpayee. She changed her name to Tia because of film director Vikram Bhatt. The only reason for this was that there is already an actress named Twinkle Khanna in Bollywood. The same name could have caused confusion between the two. So she changed her name however even after changing her name she does not got fame in Bollywood.  

You might get shocked but Tia also a singer. She is renowned as actress, but she has another form as well, that of a singer. She also has appeared as a contestant in 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge' (2005-2006). After this she has worked in films like 'Ghar Ki Beti Lakshmi' '...Phir Koi Hai' (2008) 'Lux Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket' (2008) . She then made her Bollywood debut in 2011 with Vikram Bhatt's Haunted-3D, alongside Mimoh Chakraborty in the lead role. She has so far shown her acting magic in some movies like 'Lanka' (2011), '1920 Evil Returns' (2012) and 'Identity Card'. Tia received popularity for her role in horror films 'Haunted-3D' and '1920 Evil Returns'. Apart from this, she also played a strong role in the serial '...Phir Koi Hai'.
