New Delhi: This month, Kontax Engineering Ltd. s design team returned to Kickstarter to introduce their brand-new, incredibly distinctive Tensegrity iPhone Stand.

The stand is made of CNC-cut anodized aluminum and features a tension design that gives it the appearance of floating in the air. If you look closely, you can see the thin wires finding the right tension by pulling in different directions to hold the iPhone stand in place.

Giving you a very basic desk-mounted iPhone stand, although wirelessly charging your iPhone while in the stand can be problematic. Early bird pledges for the groundbreaking project are now being accepted at special prices starting from $65 or £55 (depending on current exchange rates).

Strong, thin wires are used instead of heavy legs to prevent damage and maintain the structural and tensional integrity of the plates, completely independent of gravity.
