New Delhi: Sony will reduce the price of its PlayStation 5 (PS5) in India by Rs 5,000 from April 1. Will cost Rs. 39,990 (down from Rs. 44,990) for the PS5 (Digital Edition) and Rs. 49,990 (down from Rs. 54,990) for the regular PS5. The discount is said to be part of Sony's "Summer Offer", which will be valid across both online and offline markets.

Sony has decided to offer attractive discounts on PS5 as many students in India have completed their board exams. To entice potential customers waiting for console restock, this offer will be available for a limited time only.

Notably, the PS5 is priced at just Rs. 5,000 price hike, so it might be a good idea to buy the console during this "summer offer".
