Lucknow: Despite stringent laws and all the claims of the police and the government, crime in Uttar Pradesh is not stopping. In this sequence, now a heart-wrenching case has come to light in Ghaziabad adjacent to the national capital Delhi. Here, a landlord brutally killed his tenant just so that he did not have to return the money.  

Not only this but so that no one suspects murder, the accused landlord cut his tenant's body into 4 pieces and threw it in the canal. According to the report, a 35-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday from Modinagar in Ghaziabad for the murder of his tenant. The accused confessed to strangling a Ph.D. student, who was his tenant, with a towel on October 6, 2022.

According to the report, the accused room owner Umesh Sharma chopped the body of his 40-year-old tenant Ankit into four pieces with a tree-cutting saw after the murder. He then dumped body parts in a forest area near the Ganga canal in Ghaziabad and Muzaffarnagar and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Dasna. At present, the police have arrested the accused and started legal action.
