Director SS Rajamouli has become the first director of Indian cinema whose 3 movies have made a net business of Rs 500 crore or more at the domestic box office. His movie 'RRR' achieved this success on the 8th day of its release i.e. the first Friday of the second week. Rajamouli is the director of these three highest grossing movies in the country.

On the eighth day of its release, the movie 'RRR' did a business of about Rs 25 crore across the country according to the initial figures and now the film is estimated to have a majority of the collection from the Hindi-speaking areas. According to the initial data, the movie has earned about Rs 12 crore in the Hindi on the second Friday after its release. With this, the net collection of the movie at the domestic box office is also estimated to have crossed Rs 500 crore.

The film 'RRR' has done a net business of Rs 477.50 crore in the first week of its release. In this, the Telugu version earned around Rs 298.51 crore in the first week, Hindi version managed to do a business of Rs 132.59 crore. The film's turnover in Tamil stood at Rs 33.30 lakh and the movie has earned Rs 11.95 crore in the first week in Malayalam and Rs 1.15 crore in Kannada. The film 'RRR' has earned a net of about Rs 25 crore on the 8th day according to the initial figures and according to this, the total net collection of the movie  is now seen to be reaching above Rs 502 crore.

The tag of making the biggest hit film at the Indian box office so far is going to be tied on the head of SS Rajamouli. Made for a total of Rs 250 crore, his movie 'Baahubali 2' had a worldwide turnover of Rs 1788.06 crore and its net collection at the domestic box office was Rs 1030.42 crore. After which there is now the number of 'RRR'. Made at around Rs 550 crore, 'RRR' has so far done a business of around Rs 734.80 crore worldwide and its domestic box office collection has reached around Rs 502.50 crore. At number three in this list is also Rajamouli's movie 'Baahubali'. Made at Rs 180 crore, the movie has earned Rs 650 crore in the world and has collected a net collection of Rs 421 crore in the country.

The film 'RRR' will have to recover around Rs 180 crore for its distribution cost to get the hit movie in the Hindi-speaking states. After earning so much, the makers of the movie will come to the sum and the business that is going to happen after that, the real profits of the makers of the film are estimated to be. The film has managed to do a business of around Rs 145 crore in the Hindi by the 8th day of its release. It is being said that by the 11th day of its release, the movie is going to cross the Rs 180 crore mark and due to the release of any big film next week, it is also expected to easily cross the Rs 200 crore mark.
