Director/Producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been summoned to the Parliament commission. He has been ordered to appear on November 30. In fact, Chittaurgarh MP CP Joshi had asked in the petition committee on November 20 that history has been distorted in 'Padmavati', after which the petition group has issued a notice to Sanjay Leela Bhansali taking cognizance of the petition.

A Lok Sabha commission has questioned the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to put forward report on the hullabaloo surrounding filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Padmavati'. They have sought after the report by November 30. Officials from the CBFC and the I&B Ministry will also come into view before the Parliamentary panel in this view.

The makers of the film 'Padmavati', had sought voyage of the certification process, owing to the protests and politics over Padmavati, but the request was discarded by the Censor Board, which uphold that it would the chronological order as per the list of films waiting before it.

The film was at first lined up to release on December 1st. Due to the film is being surrounded by hullabaloo; it's doubtful to knock the theatres this year.
