The previous day, the makers of "Shikara" organized a special screening for the real Kashmiri Pandits who were forced out of their homes. The exodus of Kashmiris has completed 30 years in the past, and to mark the date, a special screening was planned by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and the team of Shikara for the victims of the exodus. About 200 people had come from Jammu's refugee camp to watch this special preview.

Shikara's trailer is getting appreciation from everyone for its touching story. The film, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra with a powerful portrayal of Kashmir of the year 1990, has given the audience more anticipation.
