Meerut: A video is becoming increasingly viral on social media in Meerut, UP. In this video, a person claiming to be a BJP corporator is seen fighting with the policemen. In the video, the person is saying that I am a BJP corporator, will you issue my challan?  Along with this, he also threatens the policemen, while the policemen are heard saying that you are not wearing a helmet.

According to the news received, the name of the person seen in the viral video is being told as Manoj Saini. His wife Renu contested for the post of BJP corporator from Khajauli Ward No. 38 of Meerut. It is being said that she lost the election. Even after this, Manoj Saini started threatening the policemen by calling himself a corporator. The viral video is being told of the Cantt area of ​​Meerut. Wearing a helmet has been made mandatory here. Police was running a checking campaign regarding this. Meanwhile, police stopped Manoj while going on a scooty and told him that you're not wearing a helmet. Police asked Manoj for the license, he did not even show the license. 

In the video, Manoj can be heard saying, 'The Municipal Corporation is half a kilometer away from here and my helmet is kept there. I am a BJP corporator, will you invoice me? In this case, Meerut SP Traffic Jitendra Kumar Srivastava said that the video has come to our notice through social media. The checking campaign is being conducted on the instructions of the UP government. Those who are walking without helmets are being challaned. In the sequence in which this video was, the person seen in the video has been challaned. The police have been told that challan action should be taken decently with everyone in a fair manner.
