According to reports, the body was of Sabita Kumhar, wife of Gurucharan Kumhar of Bania Pada in Chandil. Guddu Gope, a resident of Lupungadih, and his wife had sanded the throat of Sabita Kumhar together. Sabita Kumhar had been living at Guddu Gope's house for the past seven years, leaving her husband. Guddu Gope had been roaming around Lupungdih village in the morning carrying the mutilated body in a bag. The same villagers handed over the letter to the police. When the police reached there, he left the bag and fled. Guddu Gope was taken into custody after a lot of searches. Guddu Gope turned the police around and then police went to Gurucharan Kumhar's house and identified her.
