Mumbai: An old man killed his wife and daughter by slitting their throats with a knife in the Jogeshwari area of Mumbai in Maharashtra. The shocking thing was that the culprit himself gave this information to his second daughter through a phone call. The police have registered a case in this case and arrested the culprit. 

According to the Meghwadi police station, the case took place near Sher-e-Punjab Colony in the Jogeshwari area. Here, 90-year-old Purushottam Gandhok was living here with his wife Jasbir (aged 89) and a mentally deranged daughter (age 55). The criminal told the police that his wife was lying in bed due to suffering from several diseases. She couldn't walk and was totally dependent on him. At the same time, his mentally unstable daughter was also completely dependent on him. 

The same criminal Purushottam allegedly told the police that he was very worried about who would take care of his wife and daughter after his death. He was upset for his wife and daughter because there was no one to take care of them after him, so the old man decided to kill his wife and daughter. Meanwhile, on the night of February 6, he stabbed his wife and daughter to death one after the other with a knife. The next morning, the criminal called his second daughter, who lives in Mumbai. Purushottam told her, "I have killed your mother and sister, send the police to my house and get arrest me." The same daughter was so shocked that she reached her maternal uncle directly, but her father did not open the door until the police arrived. The daughter and other persons called the police after which the culprit opened the door. The police arrested the culprit and sent the bodies for post-mortem. At the same time, the criminal was produced before the court, from where he has been sent to police custody for three days.
