Palghar: An incident of rape of two young women by a man in Maharashtra's Palghar district has come to light. The criminal took these minor girls to the forest in the Vasai Virar area on the pretext of getting them to work in the film and blackened their mouths. Unnatural acts were also done to the girls.
With this, the police have registered a case of rape against the culprit. In the last one year, the criminal has taken 13-year-old girls to the forest several times and raped them several times. The Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar police control room reported this on Tuesday.
According to the information received from the police, the culprit also demanded Rs 70,000 from the victim girls by threatening to make their objectionable pictures viral on social media. Thereafter, the matter came to the notice of the girls' families. Following this, a case was registered against the culprit by the Nallasopara police on Monday. The culprit is now out of police custody. A case has been registered against him under sections 376, 377, 384, and 506 of the IPC and under various sections of the POCSO Act. The girl is very scared of this incident and is with the family members. At the same time, the police are investigating the case strictly.
