Thane: A thief broke into a sound of a music phone shop in Maharashtra's Ulhasnagar and stole phones worth Rs 18.72 lakh. Police, who rushed to the spot after receiving the information, inspected the matter. After the complaint of the shop owner, a case was registered and an investigation was initiated. Subsequently, the police arrested the culprit in just 2 hours. All mobile phones have been recovered from him.

According to the information received, the name of the accused in the theft of the phone in the shop is said to be Ahmed Firoz Naeem Ahmed alias Monu. Police have already arrested this criminal. Police said Ahmed broke the roof of the sound music mobile shop at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk around 5 am on Sunday. Thereafter, mobile phones worth Rs 18.72 lakh were stolen from the shop.

After this, the criminal hid the stolen mobile bag at the railway station, after which he himself slept there. When the owner of the shop reached the shop, he came to know about the incident. Rakesh Laxmandas Gambani, the shop owner, lodged a case at the Central Police Station in connection with the incident. The police registered a case and started an investigation. Meanwhile, on patrol, the police detained Ahmed as a suspect. On being questioned, he confessed to stealing the mobile phone from the shop. All mobile phones have been recovered from him.
