Patna: The controversy of Hijab, which started from Karnataka, has entered Bihar. There was a difference in the signature of a Muslim girl who came to UCO Bank in Bihar's Begusarai district to withdraw money, on which the manager of the bank asked her to reveal her face by removing her hijab to identify her. What was it then, Muslims started creating ruckus within the bank by linking this case to the Karnataka Hijab controversy. According to the information received, this incident is of UCO Bank at Mansoor Chowk in Begusarai district.

Where on February 10, 2022, Shama Tabassum, the daughter of Matin Alam, a resident of Kasturi village, went to the bank to withdraw money wearing a hijab. The girl alleges that on the day of the incident, she had gone wearing a hijab to withdraw money. As soon as her number came, she went near the cashier, but the cashier told her that only if you open the hijab, you will give money, otherwise not. Shama Tabassum said, "After refusing to give the cashier's money, I told him that you will have to pay the money. Then I called my father and brother and informed about it. Those people came and created a ruckus in the bank, then later the bank manager gave money. The video of the same case is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

It can be seen that the employees of the bank are refusing to make videos inside the bank. But after this the Muslim side is saying that it will not stop making videos. They will share it on Facebook. A person who claims to be the father of the girl says that you write to us that Hijab is not allowed inside the bank. The girl's father says that till now we used to have money transactions from here, but there was no problem. Now these people are asking to remove the hijab. It has come from Karnataka. We will go to the police station. Otherwise these people should show me the instructions of the government. However, clarification has also been issued by the bank in this matter. Bank's manager Ritesh Kumar said that the matter was baseless and said, "We were asked to remove the hijab to confirm the identity. Because, the signatures were slightly different. That is why the cashier asked to show the face as identity proof. We have nothing to do with the hijab controversy."
