Muzaffarpur: An incident of rape of a minor has come to light in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The incident took place in a village under the Ahiyapur police station area, where a 15-year-old girl was held captive and raped. The rape took place on Thursday night. Police have registered a case in this regard.
According to the news received, the compounder working in a private clinic near the victim's house has committed this heinous incident. At around 2 am, when the family started searching, the culprit threw the victim outside the clinic. When the family questioned her, the victim reported the entire incident. Subsequently, when the victim's family went to the clinic, the culprit closed the gate from inside. This made people angrier. The gate of the clinic was opened by calling the landlord and then the people beat up the culprit.
On the news of the rape, the police of Ahiyapur police station also reached the spot and after a lot of effort, the culprit was taken out of the crowd and admitted to a private clinic on the NH side. The criminal is undergoing treatment in police custody. An FIR has been registered at Ahiyapur police station late in the evening on the victim's statement. The police also conducted a medical examination of the victim. The police will record the victim's statement in court on Saturday. According to the report, the victim had gone to a private clinic located just 20 metres away from her house to fill water from a hand pump on Thursday night. During this, the criminal caught the minor girl and took her inside the clinic by pressing her mouth. The minor was raped by the criminal by showing her a knife and threatening to kill her. Ahiyapur police station ASI CK Mandal said a police team rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident. The criminal was beaten up by the people and is currently undergoing treatment in police custody. Further legal action will be taken in this matter.
