Supaul: In the case of gang rape and murder in the year 2019 in Supaul, Bihar, POCSO Court Judge Pathak Alok Kaushik has sentenced the criminals to death. Along with this, the court ordered to give compensation of Rs 8 lakh to the kin of the victim along with an additional amount of Rs 10 lakh.
In fact, on October 8, 2019, in Pratapganj, Supaul, the victims' family members were returning after seeing the Durga Puja fair. Due to this, the criminals took the entire family hostage on the strength of the weapon at a deserted place and blindfolded them. Thereafter, a woman and a minor were gang-raped alternately by four criminals. When a woman tried to run away, she was shot. After that, the poor raped her in the injured condition itself. The bullet injured rape victim had died during treatment.
According to the statement of the victim, a sketch of the convicts who fled after the same incident was made. In which four criminals Alisher, Mohd. Ayub, Mohd. Jamal and Anmol Yadav were arrested. The matter was heard in the POCSO Court. After the sentencing, the victim's family expressed satisfaction. At present, all the criminals have been sent to jail after sentencing.
